Hi Issue Template Team,

one of our users made the following experience:
  • He first filled the issues description field
  • Afterward he selected a template
  • The template replaces everything he entered in the description field

I know that it would make much more sense to first selected the templated, but i think it would be anyway nice to prevent the users from loosing their work.

So I would like to see the following improvement:

  1. If the description field allready contains some text, then before replacing the text with the template data the users get's a PopUp which informs him and gives him the option to abort
  2. OR The template date is "simply" inserted before or after the text that is allready in the field.
