Would it be possible to create a query that replicates templates across projects.

Hello,
Cool plugin. I'm finding it really useful. Thank you for writing.
We have over 150 projects in redmine and I would like to create at least 10-15 templates for various trackers. I have read that global templates are on your roadmap.
Do you think that it is feasible to write a query to create in bulk the 1500 -> 2000 templates we need? If so what table(s) should I be looking at?

Thank you for your using my plugin! And I'm sorry I have not implemented global template yet.
Now I have 2 workaround.
1. Use inherited template feature.
From version 0.0.6, inherited template feature is supported.
- First, create dummy project as a top-level, parent project of others.
- Then enabled issue tracking and issue template module, and select all trackers other projects use.
- Create templates.
- Move projects as a child project that you want to use common templates and activate issue template module.
2. Write a query for bulk insert templates, as you described above.
We can bulk insert template data, but I don't recommend this because of maintenance and performance reasons…
Tables for issue template are:
- issue_templates
- issue_template_settings
Anyway, in your case, I think global template should be implement as soon as possible.

Thank you for responding. I also thought about option 1 but we already have sub-projects and I did not want to mess around with how these are displayed.
Regarding option 2. I can certainly see how maintenance would be a problem. Why are you concerned about performance?
It's good to hear that a more permanent solution is on the way. I may just enable a couple of the projects until you are able to put some time into Global Templates.
It may please you to hear that we are also getting allot of use out of the Wiki Extensions. So... Thanks again for the useful plugins.

I'm sorry I have not implement above request yet.
But ver 0.0.8 was released yesterday, which supports global template feature.
Since this implementation is so rough that please give me some feedback.

Of course, I'l make the sql query or rake task to replicate templates across projects, for older version users
